What is it with this season?
Two weeks till Xmas huh... is it just me or does it get really busy at work every year at this time? Anyway, the 10 days off will be well received (yay for the 3-days-between-xmas-and-new-years "Ministry" holiday that doesn't come off your annual leave!). Can't wait. Palmie, Auckland, then Coromandel for New Year's.
Must tell you about yesterday. I got followed home by a Tongan man wanting to be my boyfriend... it was the most uncomfortable 15 min walk ever. His English wasn't very good and he had lots of trouble getting the point when I said I was engaged, had a fiance, lived with my fiance, and even when I had to say bluntly "I already have a boyfriend" he didn't quite get that I wasn't interested. I had to walk past my house because I didn't want him knowing where I lived. Thank god for the dairy on the corner where I managed to fob him off by making the excuse that I had to buy something. I won't be walking home at that time again!
Hmm, I think a Baileys and coffee calls.

My sort of scary story was standing at the bus stop at Acton Town station last night at around 10.40pm when some scary dude came up to the rubbish bin- looked through it whilst muttering f"2k shit what am i going to do- he walked past me (at this point i thought i was going to die) then walked back and into the darkness! phew im going to catch a cab home from the tube tonight me thinks!
